The age of the player on April 30, 2026 will determine their age for 2026 Spring & Summer Tournaments. Valid for tournaments from January 1, 2026 through August 30, 2026.
ONLY TWO grade exemptions per team will be allowed. Player(s) date of birth MUST fall between January 1 and April 30 and currently be in the grade listed for their age group.
EXAMPLE: A 13U Age Group player who is in the 7th grade and turns 14 years old before May 1, 2026 but between January 1, 2026 and April 30, 2026 – will be deemed eligible to play (MAX TWO PER TEAM).
PLEASE NOTE: Grade exemptions DO NOT apply to events at The Ripken Experience® Aberdeen.
All players must have photocopies or digital copies of their original birth certificate. Grade-based players also need current report card, official school ID with grade, or official government document stating the grade.
Players born May-December use the primary birth year for their division. Players born January-April use the next year and may be eligible for grade exceptions.
